Hi there! I graduated from Charlottesville High School in 2002 while taking side classes at PVCC and then from JMU in 2006 with a degree in Philosophy. After that I stumbled into a 13 year STEM career where I used physics, chemistry and microbiology on a daily basis while operating on and innovating with heavy machinery. Now I am a proud full-time homeschool dad and am loving spending my time teaching my kids, Gus and Iris. I consider my endless curiosity to be my superpower, which can sometimes lead me down rabbit holes when I teach. At its core, studying philosophy is studying how to learn and love learning and I enjoy encouraging that love in others as I learn with them. |
