This will be a two hour private walking tour of the farm, during which we will learn as many components of the farm as we can (soil, grass, animals, individual business enterprises) and how it contributes to the farm as a whole. Currently, they have cows, pigs, laying hens, rabbits, lambs, ducks and baby chicks. If there is time, we will tour the processing shed, discuss our winter farming methods, talk about how they market, and talk about the current state of the industrial food system. |
